North Carolina public school students use NCEdCloud to access learning management platforms, digital textbooks, and class schedules through a single secure login.
Student Login Methods
Depending on your grade level and school district policies, students log in using one of two methods:
- State UID & Password (Grades 6–12 & Standard): Enter your numeric State UID (Student ID number, up to 10 digits) and your secret password.
- QR Badges (PreK–Grade 5): Young learners can scan an assigned QR code badge using their device camera for simplified classroom access in participating schools.
Step-by-Step Student Sign-In
- Visit the official NCEdCloud login page on your school or personal computer.
- Enter your numeric State UID (up to 10 digits) in the username field.
- Click Go and enter your student password.
- Select the application icon (such as Canvas or NCSIS) from your IAM dashboard.
Student Help & Password Assistance
Students who forget their password or have trouble logging in should speak directly with their teacher or school media coordinator. Teachers have administrative tools to assist with student password resets.
