Canvas is the state-supported Learning Management System (LMS) utilized across participating North Carolina Public School Units for classroom course delivery, homework submissions, and digital quizzes.

Single Sign-On to Canvas

Students and teachers in participating North Carolina Public School Units access Canvas directly through NCEdCloud:

  1. Log in to NCEdCloud with your numeric State UID.
  2. Click the red Canvas icon on your applications dashboard.
  3. Your active course roster, assignments, and grades load seamlessly.
