Important Update: Beginning July 1, 2026, the statewide NCEdCloud MFA requirement applies to staff users.

Educators, school administrators, and district personnel access North Carolina state educational systems and administrative applications through the NCEdCloud staff portal.

Staff Sign-In Credentials

Staff members can authenticate using either of the following identifiers:

  • State UID: Your unique numeric educator identification number (up to 10 digits).
  • Email Alias ID: Your full district/PSU staff email address, when configured as an Alias ID by your PSU administrator.

Staff Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Beginning July 1, 2026, the statewide NCEdCloud MFA requirement applies to staff users. Staff members must register a TOTP-capable authenticator or supported WebAuthn key to complete sign-in. See our MFA setup guide for step-by-step registration instructions.
